She was predeceased by: her parents, Fermin Negrón and Basilia Negrón; and her husband Miguel Acosta II. She is survived by: her children, Miguel Acosta III, Maritza Rivera (Angel), Noel Acosta, Samuel Acosta, Hector Acosta (Brenda) and Leticia Acosta. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home (1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:30 PM and from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
