He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kachan and Sophia Kachan; and his brothers, Edwin and Henry. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Kachan; his children, Carol Hollatz (Gary) and Gary Kachan (Krystie); his grandchildren, Tyler, William Hollatz, Kylie, Travis, Connor and Logan Kachan; and his goddaughter Patricia Stachnik.
