It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Marie Kelly in Arlington Heights, Illinois, who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Gonser and Ruth Gonser; and her daughter Rose Otte (Russ). She is survived by: her sisters, Barb Gamrath (late Dick) and Carolyn Donaldson (late Jim); her husband Bernard "Bernie" J. Kelly; and her children, Anne Drnec (Mike), Colleen McKenna (Frank), Tom (Barbara), Bill, Dave (Linda), Diane Reidy (Tom), Margaret Tubbs (Dave), Mary Lamb (Patrick), Kay Miles (Bruce), Mike (Kaz) and Jean Cooney (Paul). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

“I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve spoken with respect and admiration about Mrs. Kelly. Parents among us marvel at her supernatural abilities to raise twelve kids and provide them with the guidance to succeed in their lives. Her kindness extended to innumerable neighborhood and school friends for whom the Kelly house was a magnet. How she kept the constant activity from descending into chaos is still a mystery to me.”
