He was predeceased by: his parents, Oval Richard and Ruby Mae Fyke (Proffitt); and his brothers, Donny, Danny and Frank Fyke.
He is survived by: his spouse Gabriele "Gabi" Potts; his children, Lisa Kimmel (Billy) of Columbus, GA and Jerry "Hooper" Fyke, Jr. of Cisco, IL; his grandchildren, Sheldon Kimmel, Cason Kimmel, Bella Kimmel, Halee Fyke and Gabe Fyke; and his brother Gary Lynn Fyke (Brenda) of Decatur, IL.
