He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Cooper and Betty Livingston Cooper; his wife Mary Elaine Flynn Cooper; his brothers, Thomas and Timothy Cooper; his aunts, Judy Livingston and Rosemary Suffern; and his brother-in-law Chris Clark.
He is survived by: his sons, Vincent Cooper of Arenville and Joseph Thomas Cooper of Rushville; his siblings, Ted Cooper of Austria and Cathy Clark of Rushville; and his aunts, Sharon Livingston of Springfield and Pat French of Virginia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (301 W 4th St, Beardstown, IL 62618). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at 5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707.
