We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2025, at the age of 92, Roland Carls of Arenzville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Carls and Lorna Korsmeyer Carls; his spouse Jody Winters; and his sisters, Doris Ring, June Kleinschmidt and Roberta Staake.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Stambaugh of Beardstown, Jon Carls (Debbie) of Pekin and Joni Soer (Jeff) of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Travis Schroll (Andrea) of Beardstown, Jenna Zielinski of Cape Coral, FL, Trenton Carls (Petra) of Salem, MA, Karyssa Tefertiller (Seth) of Jerseyville and Kendrick Soer of Collinsville; and his great grandchildren, Jakobi Schroll, Rylynn Zielinski, Ryker Tefertiller and Hadley Tefertiller.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home of Beardstown (202 E 8th St, Beardstown, IL 62618). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
