He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Jones and Loretta Dolan Jones; and his siblings, Gerald, James Jones, Theresa Klopfer and Mary Rourke.
He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Ward; his children, Lori O'Gara (Tim) of McKinney, TX and Matthew Jones (Allison) of Galesburg; his grandchildren, Aidan of McKinney and Aislinn O'Gara of McKinney; and his sister Anna Spurrier (Earl) of Crest Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
