It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Kleinschmidt of Arenzville, Illinois, born in Beardstown, Illinois, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenz "Skeez" Kleinschmidt and June Carls Kleinschmidt. He is survived by: his wife Joann Farmer; his daughters, Jamie Hobrock (Brad) of Beardstown, Julie Meyer (Matthew) of Arenzville and Jenny Foster (Jake) of Beardstown; his grandchildren, Harper, Palmer Hobrock, Carter, Connor, Ally Meyer, Ruth and Benjamin Foster; and his sister Karen Lovekamp (Jim) of Evans, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church and School.
