She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Hay and Elizabeth Hay; her husband Jim Prough; her children, Jacquie Meyer (Tim) and John Prough; her grandchildren, Megan Chenault (Zach), JD Clement (Bianca) and Jordan Meyer (Arely); and her great grandchildren, Weston, Chloe and Zoey. She was also cherished by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church in Elaine's honor.
