He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Winkelman and Elda Lovekamp Winkelman; and his siblings, Harold, Marlin, Leland, Paul, Russel Winkelman, Kathryn and Pauline.
He is survived by: his wife Fay Winkelman; his daughters, Karen Winkelman of Beardstown and Sherry Rea (Michael) of Edwardsville; and his grandchildren, Candace, Natalie, Nicholas and Christopher Rea. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
