We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2024, at the age of 66, Rondal J. Proffitt of Arcola, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Proffitt and Sarah Elizabeth Proffitt; his stepmother Lois Proffitt; and his siblings, Chuck Proffitt and Rebecca Williams.

He is survived by: his sister Sara Baird (Carroll) of Indianola; his stepsiblings, Brenda Langloss (Chuck) of Huntsville, AL, David Lewis (Valerie) of Danville and Terry Lewis (Valerie) of Ft. Pierce, FL.; his sister-in-law Cindy Proffitt of Colorado Springs; and his close friend Deb Marlatt. He is also survived by 3 nephews, 2 nieces.

Memorial contributions may be given in his honor to the East Park Church of Christ or Arcola Healthcare.
