He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford H. Stewart and Mary Mildred Stewart (Hummel); his wife Mary of Virginia; his children, Robin McConnell (Johnnie) of Whiting, KS, Robert Stewart Jr. (Sherri) of Tuscola, IL, Shane Stewart of Tuscola, IL, Paula Stewart (Jerry Messer) of Green Bay, WI and Trina Stewart of Tolono, IL; his close friend Bobbie Jo Hatfield of Tuscola, IL.; and his child Pomeranians. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Roberts's family.
