She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Spanhook and Irene Spanhook (Haney); and her brother Maurice. She is survived by: her brother Wallace; her husband Lloyd Eugene Bergfield; her children, Ebby Lloyd of Arcola, Donald Dale (Ana Polanco) of Bellflower and Amy Kay of Heaven; her grandchildren, Tyler Bergfield, Crystal Bergfield, Lee Bergfield (Jennifer) and Breanne Reinhard; and her great grandchildren, Bella Aeslynn, Lena Lenora Dorothea Bergfield, Logan Ellis Bergfield, Aunaca Moriah Wickware and Omadeus Nabil.
