She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Daniel and Maymie Ellen Henry (Stump); her husband David Carl VanDeveer; and her brother Jack Henry. She is survived by: her sons, Michael David VanDeveer (Lori) of Arcola, IL and Craig Daniel VanDeveer (Tina) of Arcola, IL; her grandchildren, Megan Leech of Tuscola, IL, Ethan VanDeveer, Caitlyn Miller (Eric) of Arcola, IL, Stephen VanDeveer (Lauren) of Morris, IL and Amber Weaver (Rich) of Oakland, IL; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Jayden, Rylan Weaver, Leo, Abe VanDeveer, Carter, Conner Leech, Reese, Ross Miller and Shay VanDeveer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Edwards Funeral Home (221 E Main St, Arcola, IL 61910). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials for the purchase of new outdoor furniture that can be enjoyed by her "Oaks" family for many summers to come.
