He is survived by: his wife Clara C. Bontrager; his children, Larry Herschberger of Arcola, IL, Allen Herschberger (Saloma) of Chouteau, OK, Louise Herschberger of Arcola, IL, Lorene Schrock (Harvey) of Sullivan, IL, Esther Herschberger of Arcola, IL, Carolyn Slabaugh (Allen) of Arthur, IL, Darrell Herschberger (Wanda) of Arthur, IL, Richard Herschberger of Arcola, IL, Treva Helmuth (Tyson) of Lovington, IL and Eldon Herschberger (Kierra) of Shelbyville, IL.; his siblings, Marie Schrock of Warsaw, OH, Samuel Herschberger (Dorothy) of Arthur, IL, Edwin Herschberger (Katie) of Arthur, IL and Lester Herschberger of Arthur, IL; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Hostetler of Arcola, IL.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the HCK Building. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
