It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Hood of Arcola, Illinois, born in Tuscola, Illinois, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Harold and Helen Frances Maxwell (Alcorn). She is survived by: her sons, Ryan Hood (Denise) of Washington, IL and Chris Hood (Shannon) of Effingham, IL; her grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Robert and Serenity; her siblings, Linda Clark (Butch) of Arcola, IL, Robert L. Maxwell (Lynn) of Arcola, IL and Frank E. Maxwell (Karen) of Arcola, IL; and her nieces, Tisha Goad (Jason) of Arcola, IL, Jodi Pantier (Chad) of Arcola, IL and Haley Campbell (Drew) of Sullivan. She is also survived by five great-nieces and two great-nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
