George Coffey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2024, at the age of 98, George Coffey of Arcola, Illinois, born in Hindsboro, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Coffey and Gladys Coffey (Green); and his brother Carlysle Coffey. He is survived by: his wife Olga Vlieg of Arcola, IL; his children, John Coffey (Cinthia) of Phoenix, AZ, Ralph Coffey of Charleston, IL and Marilyn Holmes (Ted) of Mattoon, IL; his stepchildren, Ron Vlieg (Gyna) of Miami, FL and Vanessa Vlieg; his grandchildren, Lisa, Neil, Ryan, Andrew, Amy and TJ; and his stepgrandchildren, Jay and Laura.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
