He is survived by: his daughter Emery Verdin (Marko) of Mattoon; his sister Ginger Kielhorn (Rick) of Tuscola; his grandchildren, Brandy Verdin, Marko Verdin II (Emily), Dakari Brown, Kamrynn Brown and Max Verdin; and his nephew Quinton Risley of St. Paul, Minnesota.
