It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben Ashworth of Arcola, Illinois, born in Olney, Illinois, who passed away on July 13, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Eugene Sr. and Virginia Rose Ashworth (Fulk); and his brother-in-law Jerry Reifsteck. He is survived by: his wife Julie Rollings of Arcola, IL; his daughters, Sharon Stiltz of Oakland, IL and Stephanie Butler (Jeff) of Danville, IL; his stepdaughter Brenna Walters (Kendra) of Springfield, IL; his sons, Tony Ashworth (Becca) of Champaign, IL and Joshua Ashworth of Villa Grove, IL; his stepchildren, Bobby Greenstone (Julie) of Tuscola, IL and Rebecca Jean (Tejay) of Champaign, IL; and his siblings, Barbara Reifsteck of Camargo, IL and Charlie Ashworth of Tuscola, IL.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Walnut Grove Christian Church.
