It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Scott Brener of Apple River, Illinois, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Scott shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Scott farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his brother Tom Brener. He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Brener and Dave Brener (Deborah); his nephew Matthew Brener (Carolyn); his niece Bethany Rasmussen (Patrick); and his great-nieces, Alice, Matilda, Greta Brener, Hattie and Eleanor Rasmussen.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Apple River United Methodist Church (102 E Baldwin St, Apple River, IL 61001).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name for the American Heart Association.
