It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nore Swanson of Apple River, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nore Swanson and Gertrude Swanson (Roth); his siblings, Barbara and Michael; his children, Jeffrey Anson and Pamela Smith; his grandson Ryan Bennett; his great grandchildren, Jameson Swanson and Navaeh Runberg; and his son-in-law Glenn Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Anson (Higgins); his children, Christine Chapman (Tod), Nore "Bill" Swanson IV, Steven Swanson (Denise), Teri Abbott (Don) and Laura "Myke"; his siblings, Robert Swanson, Diane Driscoll, Suzanne Swanson and Nancy Swanson (Tom); his close friends, Duane, Judy Maupin, Tim, Connie Maupin, Tammy and Brian Albrecht; and his pet Honey Bee. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
