He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gallagher and Mary Gallagher (Bourquin); his wife Ilene M. Dittmar; and his siblings, Francis, Laverne, Leo, Orville and Alberta.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Gallagher (Mary), Greg Gallagher (Joanne) and Marcia Thompson (Ken); and his grandchildren, Chris Gallagher (Larissa), Jeremy Gallagher, Shaun Gallagher (Anne), Erin Conaway (Gary), Derek Thompson (Angel) and Ashley Jorgenson (Sam). He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
