With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary E Clark of Apple River, Illinois, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on March 29, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Ada Clark (Stevens); his siblings, Louanne Van Pelt and Craig S. Clark; and his daughter Gretchen Andrus Clark.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Stephenson of Apple River; his children, Gregory S. (Virginia) of Chicago, Gordon A. Clark of Chicago and Gillian Smith (Timothy) of Carrollton, TX; his grandsons, Gregory (Karlie) of Henry, TN and Ryan Clark (Marian) of Chicago; his great grandchildren, Maddox, Miles, Milo, Jaelyn and Jocelyn; and his sister Linda Schuler (Karl) of Houston, TX..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Safe Haven, 1471 US Highway 20 West, Elizabeth, IL 61028 in memory of Gary.
