Barry James Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry James of Apple River, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James and Irene James (Brinkmeier); and his cousins, Gloria Young (Brinkmeier) and Cheryl Felckowski (Brinkmeier). He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Holub); his brother William James (Linda); his niece Julie Modjeski (Gary Hunt); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan, Mitchell, Leah, Kallie Modjeski and Jennifer James (Chris Martin); his cousins, James Ford (Edith) and Mary Kuhn (Jim); and his close friends, Justin, Andrew (Melissa) and Robert Warner.

Due to COVID, a private graveside service is being held with burial at West Ella Cemetery.
