He was predeceased by: his parents, Napoleon Blanchette and Verna Blanchette; his wife Carolyn Bahr; his son Scott Robert Blanchette; his close friend Madelyn McKenna; and his brother Leonard Blanchette.
He is survived by: his children, Michele Whitehead (Steve) of Elgin, IL, Eric Blanchette of Round Lake and Daryl Blanchette (Holly) of Ingleside, IL; his grandchildren, Bryan Whitehead (Ilse), Britney Romero (Donald), Trevor Whitehead (Belinda) and Thomas Blanchette (Brooke Buckley); his great grandchildren, Mason and Noah Whitehead; and his brothers, Ivan of Florida and Earl Blanchette of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
