With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen J. Witkus of Antioch, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Witkus and Julia Witkus; his wife Jenine T. Albertson; and his siblings, Marsha Flowers, Kenneth Witkus and Marc Witkus.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Jr. Witkus (Jennifer) of Poplar Grove, IL, Tina Murdock (Eric) of Cortland, IL, Theresa Swanson of Antioch, IL and Michelle Zirves (Brian) of Trevor, WI; his grandchildren, Jacob Witkus, Ashton Swanson, Douglas Swanson, Brooklynn Murdock, Brayden Zirves and Evan Zirves; and his siblings, Anthony Witkus (Maxine) of Menomonie Falls, WI and Cheryl Schwartz of Lake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital PO Box 1999, Memphis, TN 38101 are appreciated in Stephen's memory.
