He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank "Dutch" and Esther "Suds"; his son Scottie; and his siblings, Deborah, Joy, Brian and Steve.
He is survived by: his children, Keeley Naughton (Kyle) of Lake Villa, IL and Kyle Thode (Windy Nguyen) of Iowa City, IA; his granddaughter Layla; and his former wife Sharon Thode of Antioch, IL. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
