She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schlosser and Evelyn Schlosser of Waukegan, IL; her husband George; her siblings, Jim, Jack and Betty Jean Smith (Schlosser); and her grandson Douglas Owens.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Owens (Joan) of Antioch, IL, Thomas Owens (Carol) of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Jeff Owens of Winthrop Harbor, IL; her grandsons, Jonathan (Gina), Derick (Charissa), Scott and Jason Owens (Stacia); her great grandchildren, Kendra, Gabrielle, Kaylen, Natasha, Katarina and Savannah; and her sister Ione Picou (Schlosser) of Missouri. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
