He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger and Marguerite Stahl Sr. (Davis); his aunts and uncles, W. Theodore Davis (Mildred), Floyd Jr. Davis (Marie Louise), Patricia Groh (Melvin) and Dolores Nuzzo (Emanuel); and his sister-in-law Karen.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Joan; his wife Joan Stahl; his children, Kurt Stahl (Elizabeth) and Michelle "Shelli" Pacholsky (Keith); his grandchildren, Kurt Jr. "Kurtis", Olivia and Kirsten Stahl; and his siblings, Linda Bucar (Albert), Marguerite "Peggy" Barnett (Anthony "Tony"), Patricia "Patty" Thompson (Thomas "Mirl"), George Stahl, Floyd Stahl (Catherine), Mark Stahl (Laurie) and Melvin "Mel" Stahl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
