He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Maurice and Grace; his sister Gloria Metzger; and his brother-in-law Dr. Gordon Schumacher. He is survived by: his wife Joyce E. Usnik; his children, Darlene Ploss (John) of Antioch, IL and Derek Olsen (Mina) of Naperville, IL; his grandchildren, David Ploss (Katie Miedona), Jessica Fricke (Erik), Nicole Olsen and Lucas Olsen (Grace Shank); his siblings, Dr. Beverly Schumacher of Salem, OR, Valerie Huhnke (George) of Milwaukee, WI, John Olsen (Anne) of Wicomico Church, VA and Cheryl Olsen of Milwaukee, WI; his brother-in-law Kenneth Metzger of Eagle River, WI; and his nephew David Metzger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great neighbors, and dear friends.
