He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick and Luella; and his siblings, Melvin Schroeder, Lorain Zalabach and Annette Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Simon; his children, Daniel Schroeder (Marie) of LaGrange Park, IL, David Schroeder (Maureen) of Lombard, IL, Douglas Schroeder (Jane) of LaGrange, IL and Susan McBrady of Spring Grove, IL; his grandchildren, Duncan Schroeder (Megan), Luke Schroeder, Emma Schroeder, Allison Schroeder and Kendall Boswell (Steve); his children, Jake Schroeder, Jaden Fellers and Hayden McBrady; and his great grandchildren, William and Clark. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
