She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Villarreal; and her brother Israel Villarreal. She is survived by: her children, Jessycah A. Villarreal (Curtis D. Poynter), Arty Acosta (Julia S. Symons) and John P. Acosta; her granddaughter Alix Acosta; her great grandchild Jasper Gabriel; and her siblings, Eliboro Villarreal (Debra), Ismael Villarreal (Alicia), Ofeila Geiger (George), Oralia Pacheco (Ovidio), Orphalinda Cavazos and Isabel Reeves. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted children, and friends.
