It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matthew James Kopp of Antioch, Illinois, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Amy Peceny (Weber); and his grandparents, Margaret, John Kopp, James and Carol Weber.

He is survived by: his father Matthew Kopp (Donna); his stepfather Stanley Peceny; and his siblings, Samuel Kopp, Joseph "Joey" Kopp, Margaret "Maggie" Kopp, Brynn Leafblad and Troy Leafblad. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles; and countless cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch Saturday (1055 Main St, Antioch, IL 60002). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
