She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. and Gilda L.; her husband Michael Markiel, Sr.; her former husband Ted Van Landingham; and her sister Gayle Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Gina Lenander (Bryan), Suzanne Kasper (Patrick), Michael, Jr. Markiel (Michelle), Jennifer Pasko (Pat) and Elizabeth Martin (Karl); her brother-in-law Richard Davis; and her niece Jill Higgins (Tom). She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
