It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Parks (Antioch, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Piske and Viola Piske. She is survived by: her husband Russell; her children, Jim Parks (Linda Levin Parks) of Evanston, IL, Janet Parks (Ed Wann) of Kensington, CA and Barb Parks (Aaron Bransky) of Duluth, MN.; and her great grandchildren, Jessica Parks (Marl Smirl), Spencer Parks (Sharon Pawluczyk Parks), Ryan Chahrour, Lucy, Nolan, Isla, Andrew Chahrour (Alex Madsen), Joel Bransky and Claire Bransky. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Her wish to donate her brain to their Alzheimer's research was carried out within hours of her death.
