He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank MacKay and Helena Mary; his sister Janet V.; his pet Caterpillar; and his close friend Terry Sedik.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Patchen Ralston (Betty Ann); his daughter Loral Patchen; and his granddaughter Solana A. Torres.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Home (1055 Main St, Antioch, IL 60002). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at the Scottish Argyle Cemetery.
