He was predeceased by: his father Ernst Zimmermann; and his brother Lothar Zimmermann. He is survived by: his daughter Haidi Zimmermann of Schaumburg, IL; his former wife Lorraine Zimmermann of Prospect Heights, IL; his nephew Juergen Zimmermann of Germany; his niece Martina Zimmermann of Germany; and his girlfriend Pen Walter of Aurora, IL.
