He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. and Loretta; his siblings, Joan Brooks (Robert) and Daniel Murphy; his son-in-law David Powell; and his brother-in-law Tony Victor.
He is survived by: his wife Norine Dever; his children, Patrick Murphy (Colleen), Eileen Schneider (Ken), Kathleen Powell (Jim Dietz) and Peter Murphy; his grandchildren, James Schneider (Jessika), Kathleen Mather (Graham), Elizabeth Schneider, Andrew Powell (Amber), Rebecca Clarkson (Judd), Shannon Kunkel (Michael), Kaitlin Kunz (Kyle), Ryan Murphy, Ashley Murphy, Tatum Murphy, Isabell Kunkel, Addison, Tenley Kunz, Paisley, Brodie, Josie Clarkson, Madeline Schneider and David Powell; his siblings, Ronald Murphy (Linda), Jackie Victor, George Murphy (Linda), Kenneth Murphy, Loretta Makar (Edward), Steve Murphy (Debbie) and Elaine Naleway (Walter); his sister-in-law Judy Murphy; and also, Quinn and Annelise Schneider. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the CrossView Church (750 Highview Dr, Antioch, IL 60002). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
