He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Cook and Wanda Cook; his stepfather Henry Hoots; his brother Gary Cook; and his son-in-law Carroll Osborn.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Pippert; his children, Christopher L. Cook, Gregory S. Cook (Debra) and Patricia M. Osborn; his grandchildren, Tim Knutson, Calvin Cook, Christopher D. Cook, Kaylee Cook and Kyle Nichols; his great grandchild Aurora Jan Cook-Petric; and his siblings, Sharon Sekulich, Mary Barber, Ada Nelson (Chuck), Waiva Sreid, Star Crowson and Reo Hoots (Paulette). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
