He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell and Hazel; his brothers, Russell "Junior" Dewar and Larry L. Dewar; and his sister-in-law Pat Dewar.
He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Bunkelman; his sons, Ronald Dewar (Debra) and Craig Dewar; his granddaughters, Jenna and Nicole Dewar; his siblings, Dennis Dewar (Sharon), Terry "Midge" Dewar, Roger Dewar (Lucy) and Gloria Schneider (Gary); and his sister-in-law Carole Dewar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
