He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Barr and Geraldine Barr (Huyser); his wife Lois Barr; and his daughters, Beverly Whitlock and Carol Schull.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald F. Barr (Barbara), Kathleen Goote and Laurie Norman (Chuck). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
