She was predeceased by: her husband George William Petty; her parents, John Simons and Vivian Simons; and her sister Loretta Hageman (late Robert). She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Liszka (Jeff) of Lindenhurst, IL, Kimberly Petty (John Lipinski) of Westchester, IL and George Petty (Susan) of Villa Park, IL; her granddaughters, Jessica and Cassandra Liszka of Lindenhurst, IL; and her siblings, Patricia Kroncke (Art) of Greenfield, IN, John Simons (late Jan) of Chicago, IL and Fred Weidman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
