She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich Fels and Anna Fels (Strack); her brother Rüdiger; and her sister-in-law Inge Fels. She is survived by: her husband John; her daughters, Laurie Hoadley (Jim) and Carla Hansen; and her granddaughters, Emily Hoadley and Sarah Hoadley.
