It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Merkel Dyer (Antioch, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 17, 2019, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Thomas Merkel; her husband Dennis; her children, Justin Dyer (Dawn), Lucas Dyer (Tina) and Meghan Dawe (James); her grandchildren, Cael, Colden, Chase, Stella, Sloane, Rory and Stone; her siblings, Kevin Merkel, Monique Rioux (Victor), Anthony Merkel, Patrick Merkel (Kelley), Thomas Merkel Jr. (Michele), Michael Merkel, Rachael Peak, Joseph Merkel (Renee) and Danielle Holden (Thad); her mother Jane Marie Merkel (Hanley); and her brother-in-law Charles Peak. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews, 6 great-nieces and nephews, and many in-laws, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
