He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Kathryn; his wife Delores M. Ward; his son David Augustyn; and his grandchildren, Donna and Nathan Dembowski.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Dembowski (Greg), Donna Reinhardt (Rudy), Michael Augustyn, Daniel Augustyn (Julie), Kathryn Stapleton (Kenneth) and Susan Schimpf (Phillip). He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to COVID-19 and CDC guidelines, a Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church, Antioch with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Antioch VFW Post #4551 at a later date.
