He is survived by: his wife Anita Johnson; his children, Michael Vande Voorde (Susan) and Jane Vande Voorde; and his siblings, Yvonne Klavon, Diane Vande Voorde and Eugene Vande Voorde (Marilyn).

The family appreciates the gesture of giving flowers, but would prefer in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
