It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Les R Nelson of Annawan, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Raymond and Catherine A. Nelson (Matern). He is survived by: his wife Gerita DeVrieze; his sons, Martin Nelson (Judy) and Ronald L. Nelson (Deb Tuma) of Albert Lea, MN; his grandchildren, Craig Nelson (Mary), Christopher Nelson (Sarah), Curtis Nelson, Catherine Ford (Dillon), Fallon Nelson and Sierra Nelson; his great grandchildren, Mark, Lyla and Aniela; and his sister Suzanne Nelson.
Memorials may be made to Annawan Community Methodist Church or Annawan-Alba Rescue Unit.
