She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis DeVrieze and Moneta Louise DeVrieze (Murry); her spouse Leslie R. Nelson; and her siblings, Gerald, Gordon, Graydon DeVrieze and Gloria Isaacson.
She is survived by: her sons, Martin Nelson (Judy) and Ronald L. Nelson (Deb Tuma) of Albert Lea, MN; her grandchildren, Craig Nelson (Mary), Christopher Nelson (Sarah), Curtis Nelson, Catherine Ford (Dillon), Fallon Nelson and Sierria Nelson; her great grandchildren, Mark, Lyla and Aniela; her sisters, Gayla Inton of Lakeland, FL and Glea DeVrieze of Lakeland, FL; and her sisters-in-law, Helen DeVrieze and Suzanne Nelson.
Memorials may be made to Annawan Community Methodist Church or Annawan-Alba Rescue Unit.
