He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cryer and Ella Cryer (DeSplinter); his mother-in-law Rita Croegaert; his sisters, Elma Bruder and Pearl Heitzler; and his son-in-law Ron DeFauw.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Julie DeFauw of Atkinson, Brenda Cryer of Loves Park, Christie Brown (Jeff) of East Moline, Debbie Cryer of Hoffman Estates, Jason Cryer (Amanda) of Bloomington and Jeff Cryer of Annawan; and his great grandchild Easten Brown.
