It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Reed of Annapolis, Illinois, born in Sullivan, Indiana, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doit Reed and Shirley Reed (Goodwin). He is survived by: his wife Tracey Bowen; his daughter Danielle Reed (Albert Grezeszak) of Georgetown, IL; and his siblings, Mark Reed (Cathy) of Williamsport, IN and Cheryl Miller (Scott Cherry) of Annapolis, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Memorials may be made to Illinois Concerns of Police Survivors, or "Illinois C.O.P.S.", a non-profit organization which provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families of law enforcement officers killed in the line-of-duty.
